on a rock i bought today, its about 1" in diameter. hard to get a good pic with my phone. appreciate anyone that can help

Looks to me like a mushroom. That is a very nice color.

Agree it's a mushroom, possibly Ricordia florida. Definitely bleached out though.

does it have a skeleton or is it completely fleshy?

looks like it could be a very bleached blastomussa too

webmanny, that is not a very nice colour at all for any coral…it is two steps away from dead...

It is bleached out some unless the lighting from the camera shot did that. Does not look like a ricordea. It looks like a fuzzy mushroom to me. The neon green ones are light in color. Try feeding it.
