ID please

Hi,

What could this be, or rather what could this have been since it is gone now.

I noticed it yesterday morning when I took this picture (the clear bubble not the nasty valonia behind it). Last night it was doubled in size and had become pointy at the top, no longer round. This morning it was gone.

I apologize for the blurry picture, I didn't have time to try again.

I must need a new rx for my glasses... as hard as I try, I can't see a thing. The best I can do for sure is to tell you you have a rock with some coralline algae. lol. Sorry, but need better pic.

I think I see something right in front of the algae but the pic is too blurry to tell?

Inside the blue circle. I thought it might be an egg sack of something, but either it was eaten, hatched.

Yes that is what I saw but it is too blurry to really tell what it is.

Looks like Valonia with coralline growing on it.

A better pic isn't possible since it disappeared after a day. I don't think it was valonia since it was colorless, and I have valonia and they don't disappear on their own The coraline that appears to be growing on it is actually what you see through it.

But since it is gone now, doesn't matter. I was curious though.
