After looking online they seem to be a bad thing. How do I get rid of them and will they have spread off of the snail into my love rock and sand? I've had the snail two weeks.

Just take the snail out and scrape them off it's shell. It won't hurt the snail.

Isn't hurting the snail what you want to do? Cracking the shell is one thing, but if you don't kill the snail itself it WILL build another home.
I would just knead up some epoxy & smother them. Ain't no coming back from that. (99.9% if you do it right)

The vermetid snails are growing ON his turbo snail.. Don't want to hurt the turbo snail

Huh?.. you seemed to be questioning why Sugar said "It won't hurt the snail"
I just made it clear that the bad snails were on the good snail in case you didn't understand why that was said.. .Not sure how else to understand "Isn't hurting the snail what you want to do?"
