It looks like a snail from the genus Melongena. It looks a lot like a kings crown snail that I once had and if it is related its a clam predator. Put a clam on the half shell in there and see if it goes for it.

It's a Triton. I can't tell which one without a view of the aperture. You probably have a better idea of the shape, so you can probably pick it out of this group:

That one is a Turbo, and is a reef safe algae eater. It's probably Turbo militaris.
