Saw this on a rock today. Please ID. Thank you.View attachment 396687

Looks like an Aiptasia anemone. The only reason I say "looks like" versus "is," is because of the the purple lighting. If your rock is from Florida/the Caribbean and there is a hard skeleton beneath the soft body, then what you have may be "hidden cup coral" (Phyllangia americana).

Hmmm, my vote is aiptasia, pest anemone. Joe's Juice, kalk paste, white vinegar...any of those injected directly into the mouth will kill it.

Ok, thanks. The interesting thing is that I haven't added anything for over 6 months and all of a sudden this one head shows up out of nowhere. I thought maybe it was a Goni baby, I have one in the front of my tank.
