What are these?

I bought some dry rock and live rock, and there are several of these that showed up. These only showed up on the dry rock:

wow, not a clue on that either, neat looking though. Was this rock completely dry? How long had it been out of water for, if ya had to guess?

Yes, completely dry. It was ordered from bulkreefsupply.com, arrived dry, was sitting here for another few weeks. They look like little plants, there are maybe 10 of them in the tank....argh.

How big are they? If they're small, they might be foraminiferans. Otherwise, I'd guess some sort of worm.

The second one looks more like a foraminiferan to me. The first one could be one, as well, but I'm not sure about either.

that is a Flabelligerid worm. they are harmless, they eat detritus and other small foods that fall onto their palps.

I'm not sure, but it looks like it's staring at me.

That was my first thought exactly!
