here is the critter, It looks snail like, the shell is very flat, it was only about a 1/4 - 1/3 inch long. I hope it is ok to keep, I have about 4 or 5 of them in the tank. This one was a pain to get off the rock. I thought that it might be a limpet, but, it did not have the cone shaped shell. It almost looks like a baby ablone (sp.?)

just found them on the net and thats cool, don't get big, reproduce in the tank, eats alge, so far 3 for 3, they get to live.:D
 
... and by the way, I'm surprised that it still has its foot.

When I go to grab one from a rock, its foot will detach and wiggle around in place. Very similar to what some lizards will do to distract predators.
