Hi everyone,
I've had this guy since he was around an inch long. He's since branched into two branches and is growing a third branch. Here is a pic of him with 2 branches taken a few months ago. It's currently around 8" tall, waves with water flow, appears to be photosynthetic though it does love to grab onto massago eggs, and based on every web search it looks most like a "California Gold" gorgonian - though it lacks the red "stalk" in the center.

Interestingly enough, the only other place I've seen something similar to this in action is in a video I saw of David Saxby's tank, but even then I can't tell if it's the same thing.
