OH, I probably should add that they seem to like burying themselves in the sand as they are doing that right now in the holding tank I have them in. The one in the holding tank was flipped over on his back so that I could get a good shot of his foot.

No idea if it's reef safe, but it appears that the augers eat worms (bristleworms or ?):

I tried posting a link but the link may be too long. Do a Google search on Salle's Auger and you may be able to find it.

I guess it may depend on if you want to keep your worms as part of your CUC.
