id this algae please

Can someone ID this algae for me? Is there anything that eats it? Other ways to get it off (scrub?)?

It grows flat to the rock in a circular pattern that slightly overlaps and curls at the edges...

It's a brown wafer algae and it indicates good water quality. Don't ask me how I know.:mad2:
It usually will peal off in sheets, but not always. I took the worst rock out of my tank and pealed/brushed it and it didn't come back. I still have some golfball size spots here and there and it's under control so I'm not too worried about it.

btw, it will suffocate whatever it grows over/around so keep it in check
 
Oh yeah, I've got good water quality all right. I don't have a single speck of green algae to be found.

Unfortunately the rock this is on is at the bottom of my rock structure. I tried peeling it off by hand but didn't get very far. Maybe I'll try some sort of nylon brush.
