ID this coral

I went to my LFS and bought some live rock yesterday.
When I got home, I found this on the rock.

Does any one know what it is? I need some information on how to care for it.

Looks a little bit like a flower pot to me.

I believe it is an encrusting species of the Hydnophora genus.

Wow! I'm not sure what it is, but it is a very cool color! Nice find!

My guess is turbinaria-- Pagoda cup.

I'm going with the pagoda also. Super nice and looks pretty rare.

Thanks for all of the help on trying to ID this coral.

Its going on the 3rd day since I have had this coral in my tank and it looks like its getting bigger.

I looked up Hydnophora exesa and that is what it looks like to me as well.

I don't know the exact Genus, but that is a superb specimen. Definitely a keeper!

I thought it was Hydno but I tried feeding it had no luck.
I read that Hydno is an aggressive coral. The coral that I have is not aggressive at all.

Its a hydno, I have 2 exesa's in my tank and thats exactly what it looks like. They are extremely agressive, and will kill anything it touches while growing.
