ID this hair algae

Can anyone Id this hair algae, tank is about 4 months old. It has a purplish tint to it, Its mainly on the sand bed and a little on the rocks. No nitrate since day one, I change over 30% water over the month in water changes, no measurable phosphate. I'm sure there is phosphate though since I have algae and some gha on the rocks, but snails are now getting that under control. No skimmer, 55 gallon, only 2 fish and cuc. Rodi water.
I tried sucking up the algae and sand and washing it real clean then returning it to the tank, but few days later it's back. My guess could be just the base rock is still leaching phos. But still want to know what type of algae it is. Thanks

That's cyano. It's annoying, can show up anytime, I usually see it after something dies (coral, fish ect.). Stay on top of it, let it run its course. Maybe switch to brighter or darker lights(yea either could work). The stuff is bizarre and the fear of everyone with a tank since the reason it shows up and goes away is not an exact formula.

You can try bumping your alkalinity also to nuke it out.
