i woke up and check this out in my zoos tank my pink palys have this brown or burgundy color of string coming from their mouth and attach to the rock i have never seen this , is this safe or should i try to remove it all out put is welcome thanks for reading

yup. expelling xzoanthelia(sp?). It isnt usually a bad thing. did they recently get stressed in any way? maybe a change in lighting?

just let them relax, and they should be ok in a few days.
How long have they been in your tank?

their been in the same spot for about 2 months , i did not change the lighting still a 175 mh 14 k hamilton. btw it went away so ill wait and see how they are ,thanks for all the help

Do you ever spot feed them?

It looks like they're just having a bowel movement

When you first introduce zoas they have a tendency to excrete as they adjust. It is a strange thing but normal from my experience.
