ID this starfish please

Place where I bought it didnt have a name for it so it was sold as Formalia.. pretty sure its not that.. anyone have any idea?

its a fromia, but there are several species or color varieties, I'm not sure which. All of them are difficult to feed and have very poor track records for survival in tanks.

Yep, like philter said, this is one of the many species of Fromia.

No one knows what they eat, which is why they're difficult to feed and have poor survival in the hobby. They do best (but still not that well) in tanks larger than 100 gallons, probably because they're feeding on films of algae and bacteria that form on the rocks- something you can't supplement.
