It's a good starter coral. It's easy to keep, it grows pretty fast, it moves with the water... what's not to like?

It's not very colorful and if you start adding other corals, Kenya Tree will spread and choke out other corals. I've even seen it chase a big anemone into hiding under a rock (personal experience about 11 years ago).

Being that these things are extremely easy to prune, you shouldn't have any problems with it choking out other corals IMO. Just stay on top of it. GL.
