Just out of curiosity, how did he confirm it ? What characteristics did he point to?

Yes, I would like to know. The guy at the LFS said it was a Stoksi, It would be nice to know for sure.

It looks like it is in the shade but the bridge does not even come close to covering it.

Very nice setup Clay!! All the hardware looks tight and well layed out, the aquascaping is once of the best I have seen so far imho, cool coral placement, it really looks great.

He didn't go into any real detail. But our green one looked almost identical to the one in the above pictures. This was ours in May '04:

You have to excuse the first picture. Our old digital camera really sucked. But you can see how the polyps resemble the one in the above pictures.

All that was said is that the polyp length on each tentacle is what a true stoksi is supposed to look like. So that was good enough for me

Actually, I think the tentacle lengths on each polyp are longer than what a true stokesi is supposed to look like.

Here is a comparison of the two: Goniopora stokesi and pendulus.

it loos good, no matter what species you call it, I am content with Goniopora sp.

That looks awesome. Looks like a perfect place for it. Do you have access to feeding it back there? Have your clownfish found it yet?

It is very easy to feed as there is at least 6-8 inches between the back galss and the bridge. And my clowns like to stay out front and hope they stay there, Also I hope they find the froggy first and leave the goni alone.

Would you belive when I got home I found my clowns in the goni! So I made a nice cage out gutter guard to protect the goni from the clowns. I should have knocked on wood.

It appears as if the bleached area darkened up.
