Went to a local frag swap and bought this. Told the guy I wanted something that glows blue and liked high flow as I had a spot open in the tank that has really high flow high light and blue.

It appears to do well after a few days I noticed it has little green tentacles coming out. I really like this piece and it was cheap like 30 bucks or so. Just want to know what it is.

I'm thinking its a galaxy but the photos I see the tentacles are long so maybe to much flow I just don't want to kill anything. I have had it for 3 weeks now and at night is when I really notice them coming out.

Hard to tell from the pic but I think it is one of those previously mentioned - either encrusting hydnophora or Galaxea. Can you get a better pic?

there are alot of varieties of Hydnophora. if it is KEEP IT AWAY FROM EVERYTHING I love mine got a small frag 6 months back its huge. it will kill any coral in 6 inchs reach
