Thanks its just starting to get color now i thought it may be the same as you think i see what it looks like in a month.
 
You would know better then me Chris, but wouldnt branch thickness change dpending on where it was grown?

I would agree with the valida ID but from what Ive read in the Veron series with out being able to look a the scelarites any id is more of an educated guess then a "positively" made one. Like I said I would trust Chris' opinion over my own, lol.

Valida was my first thought as well.



Thanks will see what it turns into in a couple of months. Its starting to get purple allmost all the way to the base now.
 
I think you have A. nana, which is close to A. azurea (may be same species), but azurea has nariform radials, which yours doesn't appear to have. Great colour!

Thanks. i will post another picture in a couple of weeks. Looks like its growing and the rest of the coral is getting purple.
