Idaho Grape (pics?)

Anyone have a pic of their Idaho Grape. The only decent sized one I can see is on the reeffarmers site but it doesn't look much like the description states, I have never seen a grape that looked that color "lavender" (unless you happen to live near Chernobyl farms). I'm wondering if that isn't the "pinkish" of the original colony pic (that probably was a bit bleached due to lack of lighting) or if that's an artifact of the 20000k lighting without a proper white balance.

Why you might ask? Well I'm wondering if I might have a good sized colony :) Mine is a deep purple (looks like a purple grape :)), and it has those dark blue polyps just as described. And before any of you anal retentive owners get on your high horse about lineage... it came from someone who is known to buy higher end stuff, so it MIGHT be a piece.

Now I have a few pieces of a true grape, unfortunately they're all finger nail sized so it's hard to see the real coloration as the frags are literally "all rim" (ie the lighter color), so I don't really have anything to compare to. Anyways just curious.

I've got two frags of it in my tank. They are right next to each other but at a difference in hight of the tank of about 4". The one that is higher up is looks like one pictured at reeffarmers, the one that is lower in the tank has taken on a much darker purple coloration. I'll try and post some pics on Monday.

Travis has one..he had a pic up but it was a while ago. maybe see if he can get a pic of his now. also otolith has one for sure. just the two locals that i know of

Here you can see a small frag of mine in the center. IMO they are just not worth the money.

yeah I thought it looked pretty lame until I saw a fully grown colony under really strong 20k lighting and in a low nutrient tank--they really can glow. Otherwise it is a sort of brownish purple bland color.

Thanks Karl,

Yeah that looks a lot like the same color as mine although mine is a tad more brownish... but it seems to be getting more purple everyday, and knowing Gabe he probably picked up a piece as he tended to go all over the place.

Eitherway I think I'll just call mine a Purple Undata with dark blue polyps so no one gets upset at me :) Or..... I'll call it the California Grape! Afterall everyone knows you can't grow good grapes in Idaho!
