I am sorry, but I do not have a photo of what I am about to describe to you. The actual frag is at the local fish shop and I did not have a camera and the drive is a bit out the way so won't be going back anytime soon.
Here are details: It is a colony of what appears to be orange cinnamon polyps, but the heads are not as large as the cinnamon polyps more the size of zoanthids. Also, instead of being individual polyps the polyp heads are all merged as if it is a colony of encrusting polyps as opposed to a colony of polyps.
They called it a true zoa colony, but you know this is coming from a LFS and that's why I never listen to a word they say. Employee went on to say he saw them when somewhere diving, so that makes him an expert....What ever!
Any ideas on what this might be.
