Is there ideal lighting and tank size to collect numerous zpps and ricordia.?

No, there really isn't. The same ideal that applies to most corals applies to zoas. The more light, current, and gallons you can provide the better.
That being said, if I were to get another tank I would go with something that was wide like the 40g breeder tank. The larger the footpring the more space you will have to set your frags out. I would light that tank with one or two MH lights because they are 36" long. I would also try and place my powerheads on some type of wavemaker so that the current was consistent.
Like I said before, same type of care as any other coral. Does that help?
