Ideal Zoanthid Temp?

I turned my 14g Bio Cube into a (mostly) zoanthid frag tank and would like to make it as ideal for grow out as possible. I keep my main reef at 81* and have no trouble. Should I just stick with the normal reef temps or do they like it a little hotter or cooler? I know it's generally dependent on the zoanthid and the tank, but is there a general trend preference?

My tank was 82 yesterday and 3 new frags I bought opened within a few minutes of being introduced. I have read repeatedly that 82-84 is a 'normal' reef temperature.

i keep my reef at 77-78F
ive been told that its a good temp to keep at plus. if there somekind of heater malfunction youve got several degrees until complete meltdown

I usually keep mine between 79-81...and I get real good results with that.

I would think anywhere from 78 to 82 would be good

I think the biggest thing with zoas and temp is consistency. However, you will find some that prefer colder temps (76-78) and some that prefer the higher temps (80-82) as well.

I guess I'll just match it to my 40 breeder since I'm seeing good enough growth in there to keep me happy. I'm not looking for commercial grow out, just good growth to sustain my back up population.

Thanks all.
