Ideas on large custom stand

Looking for ideas on large custom stands. I already have the tank operating and the stand built but I need to put a "skin" on it. Having troubles deciding just how I want it to look.

Can someone give me tips on how you covered the black trim on your tank? Also what do most do for ventilation?

My tank in peninsula. Stand is 10' x 2' with sump and equipment underneath.
