Can someone tell me what type this is and if it's mouth being open like that all the time is ok?

rock flower anemone. its mouth should be tightly closed. what are the water parameters and how long have you had it?

I got it yesterday Morning the water was tested and they (LFS) said it was good I got 4 on 1 rock but it's the only one to have its mouth open like that

its likely just stressed from he new move just let it be and see how it does if the others are doing fine.

I think that sometimes rock flowers just do this. My son has multiple rock anemones and one green one (very similar to the one pictured) has its mouth always puckered and slightly open. It's been that way for over a year while the other nems are perfectly normal.

Thanks everyone I have been watching it and it seems to look the same the others are still closed so I'm still watch it.. I'm doing water change water test tomorrow it stopped moving around it looks ok besides the mouth being open.

i got two and the bigger one has been with the mouth like that for months. eats like a champ and is sticky.
parameters near perfect.
