What color is it ? Looks dark brown or black in the pic.... If it dark Red=Cyano, like a mat of some sort?

If it comes off the rocks fairly easy it's probably just blue/green cyanobacteria.

Yup like Tubbs Blue zoas. Don't try to scrape them off! Haha. But yeah a clearer pic would be good. People are always posting these blurry tiny grainy pics and asking for an ID. If you need help please ensure the subject is easily visible. I use an old iPhone in a life proof case to take underwater pics.

Haha yeah this seems to be what most people do. I've been spending a lot of time getting my pics clear enough to see if there are AEFWs on the skin of an acro over a foot away. Pretty useful when it comes to IDs ect. There should be a rule against using smart phones for this purpose . . .
