OK roy im totally new to this mantis I never studied them before so I have no clue wwhat those parts are.

Telson = tail.

Meral spots are the saddle shaped depressions on the inside of the smashing appendages. These are often colored - or at least white - and are easily visible when the animal threatens at you by spreading its smashing appendages.
