Identify the Baddies

Ok, so I get different information from every source it seems. Some say yes, they'll bother the corals (especially the zoas) some say na, they don't do a think except multiply. Hmph! I guess I'll just keep picking out what I do see.

Watch them, most are harmless but if one food source runs out they may turn to another so hand culling is not a bad idea.

well the reports are from people that have seen them eating there corals not to say they will eat yours but . better safe then sorry .

We are probably dealing with multiple species that look similar.

yeah they are more then one type mine has pink in the middle

Years ago at a MACNA ,in Lexington, Dr. Jaubert gave a presentation on the Monaco Aquarium and one of the things he touched on were the problems he had with Stylophora species and certain Asterina species stars. I have never seen the ones I have cause any harm.
