When searching for specific critters, animal poop is one of the best ways find where certain ones will live, play or in this case hunt. We had been trying to figure out where this guy fed at. This rock was along a large creek.
Remember when trying this, no rain for a few days. Look around for specific perching areas or nesting activity or other things that the critter likes in his habitat. And yes, it's a bird, so come up with a better answer than that. I'll give the pic of the bird later.
