Identifying Gender

I have a Peacock mantis and was just curious how to identify it's gender. Thx in advance...pics appreciated..

The only sure way is to look at the genitalia. Sexually mature males tend to be emerald green and females are more olive or brown, but that varies considerably.

Males have a pair of usually dark, long erectile penises that hang down from the inside base of the last pair of walking legs. Females have a pair of genital openings on the ventral midline between the first pair of walking legs.
