No, Nick. It could be many things. Water alk and calcium or a fish nipping on the polyps.

are they always out? it may be feeding/ need to be feed. i think its a good thing personally...

mine are 90% of the time out

mine are like that to... i would not worry... you should see them come out even farther at night.
