if i was to get a breading pair of clowns

That would be fine for the pair of clowns. But are you planning on trying to raise the fry? If so, you will need several other tanks to raise the babies in the different stages of their lives. You will also need a significant amount of space to cultivate three types of live food to keep the babies alive. You'll need a phytoplankton set up, a rotifer set up and a brine shrimp set up. It's not difficult to do, but it is very time consuming and the costs of the various cultures and equipment add up. And then, once you get everything going and you have tons of baby clown food ready to go, and you have all the grow out tanks set up, your clowns may just decide all of a sudden to stop laying eggs, like mine did! ;)

My tomatoes started laying eggs again for the first time last month, but that was after they stopped for about 4 months, so I had already torn down all my breeding setups... I was planning on setting it all back up again, but I wanted to wait and make sure they were consistently laying again for at least 6 months. Last time, it took me about 3 months to get everything set up and ready to go (I started preparing as soon as they started laying eggs -- and I'd had the pair for over 4 years before they started breeding).

I would need to get everything going once again, and that would probably take me a while...
