If you have a vortech on pulse can I keep a haddoni in a cube?

The cube I'm planning is the Elos System 70 (55 gal) cube.

All I know currently about Haddoni's are that light and surging is key, and that I like them very much.

Would vortechs fullfill the surging requirement to successfully keep these?

Is a 55 cube too small for these? (29"x22"x20" approx.)

If too big then, I am looking into the Bubble Tips. So the question regarding those....is there such a thing as a gold tip red bubble anemone?

Thanks very much in advance for the info.

i have it surging and it is not quiet... you get used to it and if you set the power at about midway its much quieter but i use full speed pulses.

the vortech is the only way your going to get a wave going in that size tank a wavebox would not work in a tank that size.

I think a couple different kinds of bubble tip is a better fit for that size but you could do a single haddoni in the center

what happened to that light thread of yours i went back to check on it and it was gone, might be because there was a pm in there?? did you request it closed?

I think a haddoni will do fine in a system 70 if you get a smaller one, it could take years to truly outgrow the tank, but dont plan on having a ton of rock in there with it. :)

the two smaller tanks are going to be nice for all the BTA's you could want.

Thanks very much for your help.

I think I will get the bubble tips then, I don't want to get the haddoni if I can't provide long term. I think I would just end up worrying about them the whole time, wondering if they are okay.

So then, should I go with Tunze nanostream instead if I have bubble tips?

the vortech has a foam cover available thru ecotech that is the best way to protect your anemones, nothing like it available for teh nano stream.

you can find a great variety of BTA variations that would make for a very cool display :)\

I am such an elos groupie.
