If You Live Far From Sea

What is the content of seawater (or saltwater). The only I know is "salt". What other substances contain in seawater? Can I buy it too like "reef salt" to mix it with the freshwater?

I would read the stickies like people have suggested, but yes a reef salt mixed with RODI freshwater works great. i live right by the ocean and have never used natural ocean saltwater, nor have i heard of anyone doing so

Can you please show me the link of "stickies" about substance contain in seawater?

Now you have, I use ocean saltwater!

How do I get a saltwater when I live far from sea?

What do you mean with "specific gravity"? How do I do that?

What about whitespot fish disease? Isn't this disease spread much more in freshwater+salt than a pure seawater?

I am not able to find the Sticky thread.

There is no way in heck that someone can be this dense.

Have a look through their posting history. I'm not sure if they have a tank setup or not. But some of the other questions asked are quite advanced and I would tend to believe that this person is pulling our legs on this thread.

Rather quite annoyed with it all to be honest. When asking for help they get told to read the stickies and they can't find them? Is the OP 5 or can't read? Top of the forum, theres like 5 stickies, how can one not find them?

Seriously now, this thread has gone on way to long, and there are just way to many dumb questions that are being asked when the OP asks much more advanced question in other parts of the forum.

Oh you thought that was weird too? Lol. Used scientific name of copepod one place, can't figure out stickies or how to make saltwater in another.

Perfect seawater will contain Mermaids, lots and lots of mermaids

Mermaids are nice, at least the ones I have met. I keep a couple in my tank for those lonely evenings. Great conversationalists but not so go as conservationists.

The ones in my tank are pure evil, the stuff nightmares are made of :celeb1::celeb1::celeb1::celeb1:

It's cruel to keep a mermaid in a 150 gallon tank. They really should be in an 8 ft 300 gallon at minimum. Please do some research before purchasing animals/humanoids.

How do I quarantine my mermaid if it needs a home that big? Having two of those tanks just isn't practical. Will it fit in a 10 gallon tank to start if I get a small one?
