As many of you already know our annual swap is this weekend and I wanted to create a thread that contained all the info you will need to know about the swap. This is a member swap and to be qualified to enter you must have come to at least one meeting in the past year. We encourage new members to come as well and meet everyone and they can also participate in the raffle.
1.Location and Time
Where:
John's (Woodnaquanut) house.
3338 Cypress Way
Santa Rosa
When:
Saturday, January 4th
12pm till the swap is over.
***As usual this is a potluck, so if you can contribute that would be great***
2.Corals for the swap
To enter the swap each member needs to pay the $20 entrance fee and 3(or more if your feeling generous
) qualifying frags.

Please label your containers with
RC handle
Coral name and type(sps/zoa/lps)
Lighting(led/t5/metal halide)
difficulty to grow(begginger/intermediate/expert) or whatever tag you feel it warrants
Also, please be mindful when picking coral, and try to pick coral will grow and thrive in your aquarium and if you are unsure please ask.
The club will be donating over 40 chalice frags as well!
We've had some members asking if they can pick for a person that can't attend and after talking it over with the BOD we would like to discourage this.
3.Raffle
Like all of our raffles $20 will get you 5 tickets and the raffle will be conducted at the end of the swap. Here is a list of our prizes:
1. 2 buckets of Red Sea Coral Pro salt
2. Salifert KH/Alk test
3. Salifert CA test
4. Aptasia X
5. BRS refractometer
6. BRS Carbon
7. BRS GFO
8. BRS Frag tool kit
9. $50 Fish Pros Gift Card
10. Pair of clown fish
11. Sample pack from Reef Nutrition
12. Frag rack from Frag-A-Rack
Each prize will have it's own box in from of it for you to put your tickets in.
4.Free frags and grow out
Every member that has previously been to one meeting (in the past year) is eligible for the free holiday frags. This has been created by BOD's in the past as a way to say thank you for supporting the club. Yes, the grow out is not mandatory but rather a friendly competition that cost $5 to join.
***If there are extra frags of the Candy apply reds. Individuals who are new to the club (meaning this will be their first meet) WILL be able to get a frag. $10 for the frag and $5 for the grow out competition***
