If you see one sundial snail, how many more are there?

I caught a sundial snail tonight, it's pretty large and was on a rock near my zoos. Question is, if you see one, how many more could there possibly be? Or are the odds good that they occur in only few instances?
How fast do they do damage?
Thanks for any advice or experiences about these guys. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Well I had 2 in my tank that I found after dipping. They where hiding underneath the zoo rock. That was the end of them. As long as they didn't lay eggs you should be fine.

Unless they laid eggs you pretty much pick the ones you see off the zoos and forget about them. The zoo eating nudis is an entirely different story though.

Great, I got one of those too that I picked off two days ago.
Haven't seen one since so I will keep my fingers crossed...should I just dip everything again?
Any natural predators for either? I don't have any fish in that tank currently.

sugartooth,
I believe that even though you found an adult, you could have more. You need to keep watching very carefully.
I found some on a colony that came from a tank that was suppose to be clear of any pests. The ones I found were spotted using a magnifying glass.
