if your looking for a blenny consider this one!~)

Yeah, I had my eyes on this guys too but unfortunately haven't find any LFS that stock it. Don't want to spend an additional 30 for shipping through liveaquaria.

If someone want to get it also, maybe we can split the shipping?...

Shawn you got PM. Where did he get it in the bay?

Shawn,

Let us know how he does. I've always had reservations about adding fish from the Ecsenius genus because they have a tendency to nip at SPS.

he is highly visible, he is able to swim a lot better than most blennies. he must have a partial swim bladder or something of the like. he is right there with the other guys when it comes to feeding time. otherwise he picks/rips at the live rock like other blennies.

!~)

i have a few monti's in the tank with him. some nights he sleeps under a plum with blue polyp cap. so far i haven't seen him pick at them.

Great looking fish. What is it's behavior like? Is it like a LMB?

If you've ever seen a Midas blenny these guys are closely related. A little more open water swimming and less perching on rocks. Very cool fishie Shawn!

i saw a couple of the tail-spot blennies at octapus garden in berkeley earlier this week.. i think around mid $30's price-wise. they definitely looked cute, little stouter than the bicolor blenny that i have.

John may be ablen to get some in if enough of us ask. He is a cute little fella. Im looking for a new fish to add, since its been 2 months since my last add.

inquiring minds want to know where shawn got such a cool fish! Wonderful if Stacy would get mad at me for replacing the LMB with this fish?
