I will be happy to pick it up and bring it to the meeting with me. I have to go there to pick up the raffle items anyway. You'll have to order it and pay for it over the phone of course, but it will still be free shipping or no long expensive treck for some of you guys.

This will be a standing monthly offer as long as I'm the raffle dude. As long as the items aren't real big, I don't forsee any problems.

Speaking of the raffle, any ideas yet of what might be in the bags? Photos are good if some are already for sure. A little pre-advertising never hurts!

I would probably buy some extra tickets if there is some pretty live rock in one or two of those bags.

There were some items donated by a couple that were shutting down their tank and getting out of the hobby. Some of the livestock will be in the raffle Friday. Items That I know of for sure are a 3" gold striped maroon clown, a mated pair of coral banded shrimp and a really neat looking orange brittle star.

Jim usually picks out the raffle items the day of the meeting so getting pictures online is not possible. Great idea in theory but impossible to implement with out current method of purchasing items.

Since I thought it was a good idea myself, I tried the pre-advertising program last year when I first started doing this. To take the pictures, get them posted, blah blah.........this needs to take place early in the week, and Dan said it wasn't feasable for him to hold items that long.

I thought it had been done before. That must have been when. I think we had a great selection of raffle items last year.
