If you're looking for zoanthids...

I've seen so many nice things for sale in the classifieds, but by the time I buy a frag and pay shipping, the price is just too much. I figured if a couple or few of us did a sort of group buy, we could get shipping cost down.

What I'm looking at now are the Tubbs Blues, Organisms, and maybe more from this thread: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1891127

Anybody interested in some of the corals from this guy, or maybe from another source?

I've gotten about 4 PM's from people about the Tubbs Blues, and some others. Not being critical here at all, but I never see any of the people post up that they're selling stuff. Therefore, I assumed nobody had any stuff locally, that they were selling. I just thought the LFS's kept getting the same stuff all the time, and the locals hoarded on all the different stuff that they had, and didn't want to sell it. I also assume it's a level of interest in selling, that keeps people from posting up a thread with zoas for sale. You aren't dying to sell them, but will when the opportunity comes to you.

An odd bunch, you reefers are. haha!! Soon as I can figure you all out, you'll surely change. If you don't, I probably will. This getting old stuff isn't being easy on me.

No doubt. I have found it easier to post what you are looking for or ask people with well established tanks if you can come over and pick some things out

I think it's more that the people aren't really looking to sell it just to sell it, but that they will sell it to help a fellow reefer out. :)

Many people who know me know that I will always offer frags. However, I prefer that people come over and pick them up rather than going to the trouble of posting what's available, take pictures, etc. Also, people are welcome over whether they get frags or not. It's been that way for years...

All good points...which I'm learning. Maybe I just need to make trips out to see everybody's stuff and then I will know where I can get what stuff. Or maybe we need a thread for all of us to post up FTS pics so we'd know who has what. Think that would be of use, or would most people not really bother posting pics?

FTS, IMO, don't really show a lot of detail and it is virtually impossible to determine exactly what is in each tank unless one zooms and scrolls.
