hey all

who out there has experience with these fish? Are they fragile or hardy? Whats the best qt method upon recieving them?? Can they stand up to beefier anthias like redstripes?? Thanks in advance

I was told (when I asked this a few months ago) that they're hardy once eating.

Get them in QT eating and dewormed. :)

I bought 5. One was DOA and 2 others didn't make it but one day. They were sold as Dispar so I got them $18 IIRC.
The other 2 have been in my DT since mid Jan. and are healthy and eat anything.
I also have a female Lyretail and an unknown sex Truncatus.
They all do fine together and shoal together almost all the time.

EDIT;
Remembered I had a pic.

I have had them in qt now for 2 weeks. The last 3 days with Prazi pro and antibiotics.. one looks bad and the other 2 are eating just ok.. Im trying hard to keep the water quality good.. will they do ok with the fasciatus (redstripe)?

I got 3 from Divers Den. One died after 2 months, but the other 2 appear to be bulletproof. They eat anything like pigs and are looking very healthy. From my research before purchasing, they appear to be right up there with Barts for hardiness.

thanks.. Im thinking though my fasciatus might pummel them when they get in the main tank. He is a rather aggressive critter

i got mine from salt water fish. sold as dispars came in as flames. one was doa. one never ate. I have 6 left
