ill elegance

I have a 50 gallon reef aquarium with a blue tang, two occiaris, and a mandarin. I have several lps and soft corals, all wich do well, except for the elegance wich I purchased about a month ago. When I first put in my tank I placed on the bottom between two rocks, it opened up and was about a foot long. It stayed that way till about a week ago. since then it has withdrawn into its hard structure except one end which looks fine. It just doesn't look very happy. my water quality is good and my lighting is two 65w pc's. any ideas to make it well?

Do the clowns use the Elegance as a host? Is it an Indo Pacific Elegance or an Australian Elegance? Does the top rim of the skeleton that is covered in tissue come into contact with the rocks or anything else? Do you have a way of posting a picture? Is there any excess slime build up on the coral? Does one end of the coral receive more light than the other end?
I'm sorry for all the questions, but if we are going to help this is some of the information that would aid us in doing so. A picture would be very helpful.
