These colonies grow so fast I take an image once a week to compare growth. I've seen some spetacular images especially of the electric green star polyps. I'd like to see what others have shot.

Just an FYI update.

The first and last of my pictures are both of two diff kinds of star polyp. In both picyures the front kind has a purple base mat and grows slow, also not as bright (tenties might have more serrated edges too). The kind in the rear has a tan base mat, grows fast and glows brighter, with smooth tenties.

I kinda like it, the soft focus effect gives you a 'feel' for the environment.

Is than an anemone crab in there?

Yes it is. It moved into those after the BTA was removed. He was cool until I bought an arc eyed hawkfish, that d@*# fish killed him and my blue coral banded shrimp too. He also had the pavona 1/2 dead as he chose it as his perch, he GONE!

perpetual98, nice shots.

heres the two different types i've got in my tank
