As many as you want. Not sure why you would want more than a few, but to each their own.

As long as they are not coral banded agree, many people use a number of peppermints to control aptasia, handfuls are common on those, cleaners or fire shrimp I think I'd only have or need a couple, and fire often hide so I don't bother w/ them anymore, sexy shrimp, groups are good, anemone shrimp, eh, probably no more than one per nem.
