I'm back!

I'll do a mini-review of the products I have received so far, since I know a few people mentioned they were following this thread.

Aquatic Life RO buddy w/ DI resin bed 100gpd - This thing seems pretty nice. I obviously don't have much experience with RO/DI units, but for easy setup, easy use, quality construction and final TDS, I would give this product an A. Sucks filling a 75G tank with 20Gal sump and my 10gal QT @ 100G/day, but I HOPEFULLY, never have to do this again.

Instant Ocean Sea Salt - It's a quality sea salt, from a quality brand name. I'll be switching to reef crystals next order, but for now, this will do just fine and dandy.

API SW Test kit and Reek Master test kit - Received these today, they're simple to use and will suffice through the cycling stage.

Refractometer - $30 off Amazon, works like a boss, no complaints.

Aquamana AQ LED 55x3W Dimmable 165W Full Spectrum - I've been really impressed with the quality of what I've seen most on here call "cheep Chinese lights". Let's be honest here, I'm all about buying American and can when American products are competitively priced with imports. That said, I'm not going to cut off my nose (or wallet) to spite my face. These lights are priced almost half that of comparable American models and that's money I can spend on a second fixture or even other components. If I wasn't happy with these lights I was just going to use them on my sump, but next week I will be ordering a second set and hanging both of them proudly above my DT. Maybe I'll learn my lesson the hard way on these, but as somebody who builds computers, until you get to know the brands you're dealing with it's hard to know what will last and what won't. Time will tell with these, but I'm currently very happy with my purchase.

Macrorocks.com 160lb Fine Argonite Sand. I have about 100lbs in the DT and another 20lbs in the refugium. Growing up in south florida, I love this sand as it reminds me of being home. Very happy with the service and speed from macrorocks.com and ordered some Key Largo Dry Rock, based on my experience. Going with a DSB setup that starts at about 2" in the front and elevates to about 4" in the rear. IMO it gives the tank some added depth, this may obviously change once I add some base rock.
