Lol, was going to recommend you go sps dominant too. Will be a long time if ever that you will be bored. It's not that much work, just got to be a bit more vigilant.

I agree! I got bored with my 180 mixed, so I took it down and bought a brand new 220 with all new everything. It's gonna be an SPS with clams and a few LPS tank. My 300 FOWLR is next! Swapping the acrylic tank with a starphire glass tank. Should be a fun day!
I'll never own a starphire glass tank again. They scratch WAY too easy. My next Reef Savvy will be regualr glass. The little added clairty is not worth it.

You don't think it'll be too green with the thick glass of the 300? Did it scratch as bad as acrylic? I haven't ordered it yet, I'm waiting until I get the 220 reef/fish ready before I take on another project. Maybe a month or so.

i agree. and if the wife and kids dont like it sell them at th next frag swap too. just kidding......
sps will keep u entertained for sure and you can still keep some flowing lps, and a few small softies.
Ive heard many have the same experience as the person that said softies and SPS dont mix. Ive never had that issue but i onlt keep 1-2 softies in a 200, dont let them get too big, and run charcoal 24/7/365.
