Well after at least a year or more away from saltwater I have had a chance to recover from all the hell we went through trying to keep our monster of a 210 running and in some sort of order, long story short with 2 kids and limited time it stopped being fun.

We switched over to FW planted systems and are currently running a 90 with all the goodies, which has been very niiiiice and easy, however after a week trip to Cali and Seaworld my wife and I have found the SW bug chewing at us again. I got the go ahead to start planning the change over from our 90 planted to a 90 mixed reef, that setup had always been the easiest to run in our past experience.

We are planning at least 6-12 months before we are fully in position to get the tank online, new sump, new lights new main tank (drilled) new skimmer and all sorts of other goodies.

All I can say is its good to be home!

on a second note, i am in the process of collecting dead rock or live rock that is sold cheap so i can turn it into dead rock. Let me know if you have anything in the offering.

Wish you success on the road back. It took me many more years to come back. Quit keeping salt in about 1980 an came back in 2008, to say the least a lot had changed in those years.

Welcome back Chris, keep us posted on your progress. I live two minutes away if you need help moving the tank or anything. Just PM me.
