I'm moving and I have to get rid of a lot of frags, colonies, equipment etc...

Anybody got fishdoc11's phone number? I found the candy canes at a LFS, and if he saved me one, I will get it from him. If he didn't, I want to buy form the LFS before it sells.

If you got the number, please PM it to me. Thanks!!

Rest assured Engloid I have plenty of candy cane left. I have everything that anyone has requested written down and I will not get rid of anything promised to anyone;)

Thanks! I wanted to make sure I didn't miss the bus on it, when I saw it at CR. It has some excellent color and I knew it would likely sell out soon. Hey hadn't yet decided what their price on it would be, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is about $30+ a frag.

No worries, FWIW Atlantis sells that coral for $30 a head;)

I can vouch-- you want to get your corals from Chris. It is impossible to regret getting something from him.

I was just worried that I had missed the boat, that he'd already sold all he planned to and took the rest to the LFS. That color is something I really want in my aquarium. I've got plenty of bland colors and need more bright colors.

The aquarium is shaping up pretty nicely though. As all the frags grow, I think it will look really good. :D

Oh, and I see you're a professional bum. Being that I just became unemployed, I'm hunting work. Are they hiring any more professional bums where you work? does it come with beer?

It takes years of hard work and dedication to be a bum like me. And now I am self employed. I may be in the market for an employee, you play poker?? Gotta do something while we drink beer.

Good luck on your tank, and I am more than certain that Chris has plenty of candy cane and others to go around. ;)

I'll bring the cards and you bring the beer!! haha!!

how about some pics!
I'll try and get some. For a tank that's only about half live rock and not got coraline covering the rest yet, it doesn't look too bad... SO FAR.

The frags I have bought have done pretty well so far. The frogspawn has gotten about 33% larger in about a month. the Favia is now growing another mouth. The duncans seem really happy, with heads about 2" across, all the zooanthids seem happy too. Of course the purple mushrooms are popping up everywhere, and the hairy mushrooms have grown to about twice the size as when I bought them. For fish: 2 ocellaris, about 25 hermits, 2 turbos, pistol shrimp, and a goby. I've got it packed pretty well for a 29 gallon tank, but the water's pretty good.

I do have one giant paly frag that has about 3-4 polyps, and it's not opened up in about 2-3 days. I don't know whether it's resting or not happy. :sad2:

It looks like this Monday (May 3rd) is going to be a great day to stop by. I will be working on the tank most of the day considering the expected weather.
thanks, Chris

I'll be working and probably won't be available until evening. I could do that, or about anytime this weekend.

I don't know where you live or anything. Can you PM me some directions, or call or something?

They still have those frags at Coral Reef. I dropped in there today and drooled over them a little bit. I'm surprised they have stayed there for this long without selling out.

They have some Duncans there too. They're different from mine thought. The stalks are pink, and the tentacles are short and stubby compared to mine...which has a green stalk with long tentacles. They're selling them, about 5 heads, for $50.

It looks like people are comming over on Sunday (tommorrow) after 6 pm and Monday after 6pm. I will also be around on Monday during the day before 5pm.

I have sent PM's to all those that I found in my inbox that have inquired about frags. If you contacted me and I missed you please forgive and remind me so I can get you taken care of:)

thanks, Chris

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but the Duncans you have are the regular variety, which have pink stalks. They will grow more heads at a lower height, whereas the Aussie Duncans have green stalks and grow a little more like a tree..

am I right here?

Both forms of Duncans I have are Aussie Duncans.

It looks like I should be sending a payment by paypal soon! Looking forward to the skimmer and the start of my plywood tank build!
