Hello, im new to the SW hobby although ive been keeping fresh water all my life. To start im buying Percula Clownfish which isn't very surprising. They will go in a 10g if thats possible and i'll be buying three. Now, I know Clownfish aren't possible in groups of three in such a small tank. So, my plan is to buy three wait till the aggresion starts then ill put one of the three in a extra 10g and hopefully all will be fine. Thanks for the Help!:fish2: :fish1:

I would say stick with two as well. Is there a reason you really want three?

Something to keep in mind though, 10gal.s fill up fast and smaller water volumes are harder to keep stable. Just thought I'd throw that out there in case you haven't run across that yet.

Good luck!

Just as a question, could I possibly keep one more fish that's not the same species? If so, what types are available?

We have little clown gobies that eat flakes. If you buy one from the store, just ask to see it eat first. If it eats flakes you should be okay.

Good luck!
