I'm on the lookout for replacement fish

I killed all my big fish last weekend. One yellow tang survived. The tank is almost desolate now, most the corals are fine and the fish that survived are doing great. I prefer used fish and though I really loved my vlamingi and clown tang, I'm going to stick with fish that won't outgrow the tank like those ones had.


I'm not in a rush as I can barely stand to look at the tank now, but it's getting better day by day.

My friend is giving me a fox face rabbit fish that's is outgrowing is 90gallon. Not sure if it fits with your stocking plans? He's still catching it, I'll put in my QT tank till you decide.

No, I killed them. That's the worst part. Accidental NoPox OD. I didn't doublecheck to make sure the dosing pump shut off

Possibly. I did have the last one almost 3 years, he seemed to grow at about an inch a year.


The problem isn't QTing the fish anymore, I need to dip whomever I buy it from in disinfectant first.

There's a strong possibility I may be breaking down my 180g. If it comes to it, I plan to start with coral so I can move rock easier to catch fish, so they'd be second to go. The whole reason I haven't started is the our QT. Hard to sell coral/fish without a lot of foot traffic in the house.

I dropped my QT protocol to FW dip when I started killing way to many wrasse in QT, but all fish have been in my system for 10-12 months. I feed nori sheets, rods reef and LRS. Questionable poop here and there but no signs of ich or flukes. Everyones fat and healthy.

I have a confession as well. In between moving from one house to the next, I left them angels in a bucket and forgot to provide water circulation and they all died. I had imperator, majestic, flame and a blue tang. Am I going to hell for killing those angels?
