I'm out!

Not out of the hobby, but out of the Desert. My boyfriend is being relocated to Virginia, just outside Washington DC. To ease the move we're getting rid of most of our things including a selection of my reefing stuff (I'll probably be heading towards temperate with Chesapeake Bay just an hour or so away.)

I'll post stuff here throughout the week as I clean it up, with asking price. Feel free to PM me or post here with any questions or offers. Livestock will go in packages, generally.

First up is a custom 40B w/ Maxspect Razor. They were used together, and if you buy them both I'll drop asking price to $800

Custom PicOAquariums.com 40B
*34x16x16, with built in 5" peninsula AIO filtration
*Display volume approx 33g
*standard 3/8" glass with black seams (heavy!)
*Asking $400 (That was the price to freight it down from Chicago)
*Original seams handmade by Chris @ PicOAquariums. He very rarely does custom tanks now
*Only large scratch is on the inside bottom pane (not visible when filled)
*Lightly cleaned with white vinegar, still a good amount of dead coralline on the back wall though. That **** sucks to scrub off.

Whalen Tool Storage Box
*Product ID is WS-RWTB-6D if you want to look it up online
*Very good condition, used as a stand. Has a tank mat made of black yoga mat
*It was $200 retail, and it's free with the tank. To be clear, this sucker is heavy. And the tank comes with it. I don't care if you throw it in the trash after you leave my apartment, but you must take it if you take the tank.

160W 16000K Maxspect Razor
*Purchased 5/28/13
*Includes all original packaging, box, & both the stands and unused mounting kit
*Includes original purchase receipt from BulkReefSupply for 509.99
*Asking $450

Couple of picture of the tank & stand, but you should inspect in person before you buy (always...)

Get ready for some real heat. Humidity is a beast 90 with 90% humidity is worse than 110 here. Good luck in the move I wouldnt go back if I was paid to.

I'm pretty excited about the move, and the proximity to temperate and sub tropical livestock at the coast. I grew up in Michigan so I'm used to the humidity.

Going to get some pictures of the livestock I have left in the other tanks for sale too up here:

Large Sea Star (cf Oreasteridae sp)
*Brown/Yellow/Green
*Requires regular silverside feedings multiple times a week
*Probably not reef safe, I would guess it consumes soft corals like polyps, sessile inverts like clams, & sponges
*Air doesn't seem to bother him. He lives with a skimmer. He ate his lobster friend.
*Asking $20

I plan on loading the sump and stand in Adam's Element and having the car transported. I might sell the top 4x2 tank, I havent decided yet.

This is a really nice thank. I thought about getting it just as a QT, but it is a little too expensive just for a QT tank.

Good luck with the sale and your move.
