I'm Pondering

Keep it in the PM's hurley.

anyways, sucks to hear it Justin. I think I'm going to get out come May for a little bit. I plan on moving in June, I'd rather not risk trying to move everything. This way I can get the tank I want and set it up how I want in a new house.

Sorry mhurley! I was in the wrong. I strongly dislike the IRS! Sorry about the semi cursing and it was not fit for a family forum. Again sorry!

I know how you feel. I just did about 5 grand worth. I kept putting it off and then a root canal forced me into starting the work. 21 fillings needed. Only 1 cavity though, the rest were fixing other problems. Crown, root scaling, etc.

I too was thinking the same thing for the last month or so. I wasn't even looking at the tank. Somehow, it survived as well as when I'm messing with it. A LOT of glass scraping was needed though!

In a few days I was going to order a tunze 6055 for Ange's tank so if you do want to sell the 6000 LMK how much you want. But honestly you'd do much better with a multicontroller or the aquasurf for your AC. I know I know more $$.

Yeah, ange said you have been upstairs most the time. I probably won't be looking at dumping one of the 3 tunze's quite yet. I might try bouncing one and keeping all 3 in.

You down there more now?

I would hate for you to bow out for some minor issues. Give me a buzz or someone one here a buzz as they are minor issues and we can help.

I know you are over age of 25 so you have to have some Jimmy Buffet laying around--go plop that CD in and kick back with a cold one and watch the tank-and just chill for a while. Think things over for a while.

If not you can come borrow my CD or download it for free. Let me know if I can help. I have plenty of spare equipment to help out. If you lost my # PM me

We brought granny back from the skilled care rehab again and she goes to bed so early and it gets pretty loud when people are over drinking (which ends up being ~4 nights/week) so it's easier on her to go downstairs with company. Then she doesn't pull the helpless weak "I'm so tired I need help walking" the whole next day to get back at us.

I do sympathize, and though I did not catch the original quote Phil, I am sure it was appropriate. A 2 year audit cost me almost a $7000 fine, but the penalties and interest brought the total to over $20000!!!!!

Underpayment, disallowed deductions, etc.

I feel your pain and wish someone would just &#%$ing abolish the IRS.

First Question, Do you have dental insurance. If not before you get the work done, see if you can find dental insurance. It is pretty cheap and might reduce that by half. If you do have dental insurance, still consider getting another carrier, so that you can use it as secondary insurance, and it still might cut the bill greatly. Second Opinion, Ask someone you know and trust who they use as a dentist and go see if the price outcome is different. Also, what is he going to do. Why not get some of the work done, recoup financially and get more work done later in the year. Do it in 3-4 sessions. Good luck, hopefully you can stay in.

most dentist give discounts if you dont have insurance...because of the deductable...they should knock off a good protion if your not insured
